NEW REGULATION REGARDING ORGANIC PRODUCTION AND LABELLING OF ORGANIC PRODUCTS

Since 1 January 2022, Regulation (EU) 2018/848 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 May 2018 is the applicable legislative act, also known as the basic act, laying down the rules on organic production and labelling of organic products, repealing and replacing Council Regulation (EC) No 834/2007 of 28 June 2007. The new regulation provides for transitional periods for the implementation of certain new provisions, in particular on trade.
